Filmed at the Joh. Enschedé foundry, Haarlem, The Netherlands, 1957. A Sheridan College/Massey College Co-production.
Perhaps the most comprehensive historical footage on the process of typefounding. It features Enschedé punchcutter P. H. Radisch shot by Carl Dair around 1957.
In 2015, the film was digitized and amended by Massey College and Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada, adding commentary from Matthew Carter and Rod McDonald.
